IQ CONSTRUCTION

The new IQ constructions implement the perfect integration of the binding and ski body. The binding interface rails are an integrated and structural part of the ski.

IQ LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION

With the help of the new IQ system and by utilizing a “skeleton construction” design for the heavy stressed components of the Ski/Binding System, the light weight construction has been optimized.

IQ DIRECT POWER TRANSMISSION

Power is transmitted directly from the binding to the edge. Unwanted shocks and vibrations are filtered out. This is a result of the tight connection between binding interface and ski body.

FREE FLEX CURVE

IQ enhances and promotes the natural flex of the ski. IQ bindings have no negative impact on the ski‘s natural flex curve. Flat spots are completely eliminated. This increased flex allows for better overall ski control.

IQ PROTECTION

Blizzard’s IQ binding system provides maximum protection in all falling situations. It works efffectively under increased friction and has additional retention components to help protect from pre-releasing.

IQ MOUNTING

When mounted, ski and binding form an all-in-one interactive system. The binding system easily slides into the IQ Interface channels and is fixed by a single screw. No additional mounting or tools are needed.
