Skiing on the Answer IQ Max in Hokkaido, Japan - 10/15/2009 7:17:10 AM Two Friends & some Blizzard Skis go to Japan - We had to post
this amazing photo to the tecblizzbuzz. We are ready for snow here in
the States - Here is a brief description about Mike Schirf and Tyler
Nelson's trip to Niseko Resort on the island of Hokkaido, Japan. Winter
here we come!
"We were in Niseko for about a week. When we
first got to town we were lucky enough to have some friends of friends
show us around and share a little local knowledge. The spot where this
photo was taken was about a 5 minute traverse off the top lift and
quickly became our favorite place to ski.
Unfortunately our skis
got lost on the way to Niseko so we had to borrow some from the place
we staying for the first few days. The day this shot was taken was the
first day we had our new Blizzard Answer IQ Max's and we were psyched.
It had snowed a few inches and the wind had blown everything in so the
conditions were perfect. Lots of deep pockets full of face shots and
huge open bowls with perfect creamy buff snow calling for fast super g
turns. The Answers killed it all! We were having so much fun it was it
was hard at times to stop and take photos, but watching Ty ski looked
so cool I knew we could get some good stuff, and we did. It was a great
day."
Thanks for the shot Mike! (Tyler and Mike are also fans of Tecnica's Agent 130 ski boot)
