SKIING: I was born in Anchorage AK where I first flirted with skiing at the ripe age of 1 ½. I spent almost all my time outside of school in Girdwood skiing at my first true love, Alyeska Resort, AK. I had the best luck ever to grow up skiing the steep terrain and coastal snow pack offered by the Chugach Mountains. That environment along with the technique I strove for in competitive ski racing is the foundation of my skiing today. Currently I live to ski at Squaw Valley, CA and anywhere else when it's snowing more than here. The terrain is amazing and challenging and I'm surrounded by the best skiers out there. We're all just waiting for that next miracle month of non-stop snow.

OTHER INTERESTS: Riding my Yamaha 650 V Star, kayaking and swimming in Lake Tahoe every day fill my summer days. I also squeeze in some time for wake surfing, mountain biking, backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, disc golf and anything else fun and outside.
